The Meatballs Song

When 6 Music’s Adam and Joe ran a competition to make a video for one of their Song Wars songs, we thought we’d give it a go.

We were be runners up in the competition.  Here’s what Adam, Joe and fellow judge and film director Garth Jennings had to say about our film on the BBC web site:

Adam: The idea of this family coming together to make a video for a song about meatballs was so heart-warming in itself that all the invention and hard work that went into it was icing on the meatballs. The fact that all the labels on the cans in the fridge had been specially made impressed us all very deeply and it was a fantastic performance from probably the youngest person to feature in the competition! Great effects too. This was a very hot contender indeed.

Joe: As if the Von Trapp family have entered Video Wars. Great mixed media effects work, judiciously applied video morphing, carefully crafted wipes and great practical props. Lovely kitchen. Adorable and talented young stars. Terrific attention to detail, especially the non-copyright infringing packaging designs. No less than anyone would expect from the the world’s number one Austrian singing family.
